Cindy Scott

Property Tax Administrator

As a longtime resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Ms. Scott has been involved with corporate office operations for more than 40 years and joined UPTG in 2002. Keeping the company’s database records current for both clients and appraisal districts consumes a big part of her workdays. She is also a key player in securing vital documentation our consultants need to prepare our clients’ yearly business personal property tax renditions and protest hearings. Like others in her work family, she often crosses over to assist with various seasonal tasks. Customer relations have always been a very important element of her work ethic, and she will often go ‘above and beyond’ in order to assist our clients. Personally, and professionally, it’s a matter of treating others how she wishes to be treated.

Cindy grew up in Waco and moved to the DFW area in 1976. She met her husband Tom on their first day of college, and they have been married for 42 years. They have two married children and six grandchildren. Tom retired from local school Administration in 2013 after 35 years of service. Their lives are ingrained in the community where they raised their family, work and attend church. Faith is central in their home, and they have been involved in the life and ministry of their church for many years. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling as much as possible, music, a really good book and movies—both old and new.

Cindy is an asset both professionally and personally to UPTG staff and clientele. She brings a great deal of warmth and levity to the office with her sense of humor and light-hearted, laid-back attitude. Her philosophy for life is simple— “Choose Joy.”
